Spring is in the air, isn’t it? With the Super Bowl behind us, it’s now officially baseball season. The Dodgers have seemingly finished their barely-existent winter roster moves, and all that’s left is seeing who ends up with the 2B & 5th starter jobs, and how quickly the numerous non-roster invites start to fall off. There were some rumors today about the Dodgers still being in on Chien-Ming Wang, but that seems unlikely. That’s sad, really, if only because no matter how old I get, making jokes about a player named “Wang” is never not going to be funny, as you would have noticed if you follow me, TBLA, or MOKM on Twitter. But really, when Jon Heyman’s going to set us up like this, how can we avoid it?
#dodgers have pulled out of wang derby
*snicker*. (Yes, I’m 12.) However, none of that is what’s making me die for spring training to start. No, it’s because of what else I’m seeing on the internet. Today, the official Camelback Ranch Twitter has been posting (mostly White Sox-related) pictures of the camp getting read for spring; yesterday Jon Weisman from Dodger Thoughts posted a link to the view outside his office window in LA - beautiful, isn’t it? You’ve got a fantastic rainbow, with the city skyline off in the distance. Simply gorgeous.
What’s outside my window in New York City right now?
