Via the great WalkoffWalk, let’s travel way back in time to 1977. 28-year-old Dodger first baseman Steve Garvey had one of the best years of his career, hitting 33 home runs to go with an .834 OPS as the Dodgers would make it to the World Series. Though he hadn’t yet produced any Sons, he did have one thing to pass on to his adoring fans: a big, ugly large-screen television:
