Apparently the lineup that was so thoroughly shut down by the unheralded Lucas Harrell last night was so desirable that we’re seeing the exact same group tonight against the underrated Bud Norris, save for Adam Kennedy replacing Jerry Hairston at third base. I joke, mostly, because it’s not like Don Mattingly has a ton of other options right now, but here’s to hoping that we get one more look at Jerry Sands & Scott Van Slyke against lefty J.A. Happ tomorrow before they’re inevitably farmed out when Matt Kemp & Juan Rivera return.

In happier news, one day before Kemp is scheduled to start his rehab for Albuquerque, the Isotopes welcome back another player laid up by a hamstring problem: Alex Castellanos, who almost certainly would have been in the big leagues by now had he been healthy. He’s hitting third in the Isotopes lineup, playing second base. Outfielder Kyle Russell heads back to Chattanooga to open up the roster spot.
