Clayton Kershaw Has Impeccable Style

So here’s Clayton Kershaw on ESPN this morning, answering questions about which off-season move he found most impressive (Zack Greinke), how much he likes Don Mattingly, growing up idolizing Will Clark, his family history discovering Pluto — that’s a real thing, apparently — and completely sidestepping a topic about the Angels.

That’s all well and good, but most noteworthy here — to me, anyway, and I’m assuming to only me — is his “thin black tie on black/white checkered shirt” look, which just so happens to be exactly what I wore at my wedding back in September, as you can see from a thin slice of a Facebook cover image shot below:

That’s right, we had PBR at our wedding. It was great.

Good lord, please let it be spring training already, or at least give us something to talk about other than how horrible Hanley Ramirez is looking on both sides of the ball in the Caribbean series right now.

So a baseball question that yes I know is getting ahead of ourselves, but I want some excitement and wondering where CAPANG ends up is not enough.. so what is a reasonable or expected contract for R Cano? Assuming a normal year from him? An 7-8 year deal sounds right if he hits free agency. At say 25 million a year that comes out to 7 years 175 million. Fair?

@capnsparrow Eh I mean the angels just gave Hamilton 5/125. Do you think Cano is not worth 50 million more? Heck we just gave a pitcher 6/147. If you don't like those numbers what do you think is fair?

@DavePomerantz @capnsparrow To me Hamilton was a guy that had one really great year, is injury prone and is going to play a premium position. Cano on the other hand has averaged 6 war the past 3 seasons. 7 years might be too much, but I can easily see 6.

@BearHunter90 @capnsparrow I think Hamilton is more valuable than Cano, and the same age at free agency. He still only got 5 years (though obviously there's other issues with him as well). No way Cano gets 7, unless the yankees give it to him.

@BearHunter90 we dont pay guys past 36. And no I'd rather have goofball Hamilton the same as Cano not more. The pitcher we signed is 29 so 35 is a better cieling there will always be younger guys coming up but it's unwis in my opinion to pay massive money to anybody but Kemp past 35 and Kemp gets paid til he's 36. Past that guys aren't worth it

If you own a nissan pickup and live in southern california leave that shit in the garage, The cops are opening fire on these trucks and don't give a fuck who's in them. They already shot 2 old asian ladies and a white dude. They claim to be looking for a giant black ex cop. But they don't really care who they shoot so far. They conveniently have a smorgasbord of shit on this dude but can't seem to apprehend him. You could rob the fattest bank in town right now and the cops would get to you later. They are saying some crazy shit on the news about manifestos now.

@capnsparrow That piece of shit started his killing spree with a guy I went to high school with (Keith Lawrence, may he rest in peace). The cops need to catch him NOW and lock him up forever.

@capnsparrow I once "owned" a grey Nissan pick up. My uncle sold it to me for a nominal price then later claimed I stole it from him and repo'd the thing on me.
