Updated Spring Broadcast Schedule Has 17 Dodger Games

Today’s spring training game against the White Sox will feature the Dodger debuts of Zack Greinke, Hyun-jin Ryu, & Peter Moylan, along with the lineups you see at right. (Alex Castellanos, center field!)

Sadly, you won’t be able to see it, because as we’ve been bemoaning all spring, FOX is broadcasting a disappointingly low amount of Dodger games in the final year of their contract. Even worse, this one isn’t being broadcast by Dodger English radio, though you can pick it up in Spanish on KTNQ 1020 or Chicago’s WCSR through MLB.com if you have the package.

If you do happen to have the MLB.tv package, then we have good news: the full schedule is now out, and there’s more Dodger baseball on TV this spring than we’d thought, once you include the several new broadcasts from opposing teams. Better, spring training has no blackout policy to worry about. In total, there’s 17 games available, which is just under half of the full 40-game schedule. By comparison, 27 of the 35 Yankee games will be available, which really just makes me want to get past this FOX contract as soon as possible.

Went out to AZ for the weekend series with the White Sox, and while I have endless impressions of the team/facilities/experience, I don't want to bore anyone. That said, I'd just like to corroborate a couple of things I've read in recent posts about the newest Dodgers: 1) Ryu's change-up is disgusting. 2) Puig is indeed a physical specimen. He looks like someone carved him out of mahogany. In addition, he made my girlfriend cry by very kindly giving an autographed bat to a young fan in a wheelchair––unsolicited.

 That's who I'm trying to find out...My daughter got them when I was busy getting other signatures. We are using pen now...the 1 ball was from pass years. The 1st photo is on a Mickey Mouse Dodger hat...my 2 yr olds

 @capnsparrow  @°_° I pictured before the trade deadline the Lakers getting together and looking at there team and knowing there is only really one more season together for them and having a Major League moment where they say there is only one thing left to do "Win the whole goddamn thing." Cue montage.

 @°_°  @BearHunter90 I think he can be hilarious. But sometimes he goes to far. I like owners who just shut up and hire smart people to do what they do. However, he is my favorite shark tank judge. If you have not watched it, I recommend the episode where he just tear apart a guy trying to sell those fake bracelets that are suppose to help you balance.

I wish you guys could have just heard the sound of Koufax pitching to Roseboro. It was something  I have never forgotten or heard since. Only JR Richard, and Goose Gossage ever came close to it. To see him back in camp is as good as an Omen as I've ever seen. This IS our year despite all the question marks. I know that 13 and 23 are the luckiest numbers so I can almost guarantee that on a scale of 1 to 10. This year is fantastic already!~

 @WBBsAs Actually I would like him to be productive. Im not a fan of just throwing away that contract if he can actually produce. That said, if he is dead weight, cut him away like a frost bitten toe
