The New York Times Also Hates Mom and Apple Pie

So, things are great right now. From where I sit, it may be 105 degrees today, and after last night’s pathetic four hits and one run scored, the Dodgers look to be trying their best to recreate the anemic 2003 offense. In fact, with the first off-day today in nearly three weeks, I wasn’t really planning on posting anything today.

Until I started reading the New York Times and came across this piece on the best and worst ballpark food at the 30 Major League stadiums. I scroll to the Dodgers, expecting to see some proper recognition for the world famous Dodger Dog. Well, we got it, alright:

Now, I’ve never had a Fairfax sandwich at the park, so I can’t vouch for how good or bad it is. But who hates a Dodger Dog? I can only assume that “Peter Meehan” wrote this while wearing a “USSR Hockey” shirt and drowning a puppy in a bathtub.

Oh well, it could be worse. We could have been the White Sox:

Or the Angels, who the Times’ graphics department still thinksĀ are using the Disney logos that were retired seven years ago:
